The wizard stops at "Partitioning Disk 0" flashes a few times (as if the Window has lost focus) and does nothing else.

However - when I now run our deployment sequence, I can get no further than the Format and Partition Disks (BIOS) action. So having created a new boot image (using the guide here - ) and added all the required drivers to it for our client hardware (mostly HP ProBooks of varying ages) I thought all was well upon being greeted with the familiar Task Sequence Wizard. The setup I inherited worked flawlessly, until I managed to spoon the 圆4 boot image by removing driver source files from the import location (rookie mistake I know.)

The issue which has me tearing my hair out at the moment concerns client imaging.

I've recently inherited an SCCM site and am so far enjoying the steep learning curve.
